The traditional dinner of the 2011 Sport&EU conference will take place in Le Mistral Bistro & Cafe, a very welcoming restaurant in Nottingham City Centre. The Conference dinner, on the evening of 30th June, is always a pleasant social event for all the conference delegates.
Le Mistral in Nottingham City Centre is located in a quiet courtyard oasis just off the Market Square. It’s a real escape from the busy streets of the city. A converted warehouse, the buildings’ character adds real atmosphere to the great food and drink on offer. There’s seating for around 70 people on two floors.
Le Mistral’s motto is “Slow food in a Fast World” and is reflected in their approach to their cuisine: good quality food prepared and cooked from fresh using the best ingredients. The menu is seasonal and can change daily according to the freshest ingredients available at the time. Many of their ingredients are sourced directly from the Rungis Market in Paris. Expect an innovative twist on classic French dishes.
